Wendy Holroyd from The Paintertainers came up to Manchester for a few days of workshop teaching. I've been on many workshops myself over the years and hers was easily one of the best. Wendy is not only a skilled and talented artist but a patient teacher who takes time to listen and watch what her students need to learn to progress. She absolutely encourages self expression and individuality in painting and provides the tools to step out of the box. I'm looking forward to learning more from her again in future! More...

Fantastic training course with Wendy today. She is an excellent tutor combining ‘big picture’ approach to teaching designs with detailed technical information on how to hold and move the brush to get a specific effect, which caters for experienced painters and newbies in the same class. We covered a great deal in a 10-4 day, not only material Wendy had prepared in detail in advance but other designs requested by the class. All round very enjoyable and excellent value for money. Wendy and Nij did me proud again this year at our Corporate Family Fun Day - these ladies are absolute gems. Their artistic talent, both with the face painting and henna is amazing. They had a queue of people all day in sweltering temperatures yet still manage to keep everyone smiling. Wendy is a lovely lady who I have used for my henna art work myself lots of times even my 10 year old daughter had a lovely hand henna done as a treat for Xmas. Dear all mums - to - be! The Paintertainer did a beautiful henna pattern on my baby bump! The henna she uses is perfectly safe for baby and she made sure I was comfortable the whole time.
