It’s a fantastic opportunity for both parents to be involved with teaching your little ones to swim and be safe around water. The best feature is that you can teach at your own leisure and repeat weeks if you feel it necessary. We absolutely love The Onljne Swim school and would 100% recommend to other parents. Our little girl is so confident in the water and at 6 months old we were astonished at how easily she picked up the technique. Thank you Lynsey for all your help. I would highly recommend the online swimming school. I had been struggling to find a baby swimming class near me. So when I heard of online swim school I jumped at the chance. The videos are easy to watch and follow. There is a handy print out of the lesson to refer too if I needed to take it to the pool. Lynsey’s voice and instructions are so clear and easy to understand. I find her voice calming and very reassuring. It’s given me more confidence on what to do when I take my son to the pool. One benefit is I am not set to a time and I can go to the pool when it suits me and my son. And I can spend as much or as little time on each step as I want. More...

I cannot recommend the online swim school enough! Lynsey is a great teacher and explained everything so clearly that even as a total beginner at taking my baby swimming I felt confident in doing so. Doing the course online enabled me to work at my baby’s pace and do the same lesson repeatedly until we felt confident to move on to the next without the pressure of regular lessons and needing to ‘keep up with the class’. In 5 lessons my baby went from clinging on to me and crying to allowing me to take her under the water and laughing when she came back up, the transformation is amazing. Lynsey is very approachable and lets you know that no question is a silly question (and I had plenty of them). She understands that taking your baby swimming for the first time is a nerve wracking experience and her way of teaching kept my nerves under control and therefore my baby didn’t pick up on my anxiety and she remained nice and calm. We highly recommend the online swim school. We have loved the fact that you can do the lessons whenever and wherever you want and don't need to worry about missing lessons. My older daughter and partner have been able to come and join in which has been great too. I was quite nervous about taking my baby swimming on my own but there's so much information from what to take with you to how to perform the skills and Lynsey is so knowledgeable, that I felt at ease straight away. What do you love most about your job?
Giving parents the opportunity to teach their child one of life's best skills by giving them the skills to teach them water confidence and basic swimming skills. I get so much enjoyment seeing pictures and videos of how their child are progressing.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After 14 years of teaching swimming and also previously a qualified Water Babies swimming teacher I soon realised that lessons were becoming expensive, parents were cancelling lessons due their child's forever changing routines, days and times no longer suited, sickness and holidays.
During my 6th month on maternity leave we hit lockdown with my son Louie and I was fortunate enough to have access to a private swimming pool where i could take my son and teach him the skills that I though was necessary for his age group and loved spending that quality time with him in the water.
Having such a long maternity with my son, the thought of leaving him was so hard for me. I then thought how can I stay at home with my son, work from home, but also help others? That's when I had a dream and thought, if I could share my knowledge and skills with other parents through an online platform where they have access to easy to follow tutorial videos which are also easy to memorise when taking their child to the swimming pool, would this be something parents would be interested in purchasing?
2 years later I have over 100 swimmers with myself and have customers in Australia, florida and India.

My courses are all online and are aimed at children 0-5 years, however i do also offer private swimming lessons to all age groups within a close proximity to Stockport. Private Swimming Lessons
Private swimming lessons within your own home pool or at a pool with permission for me to teach you there. I will come to you and bring all the equipment needed for your bespoke swimming lesson.
