We stayed here for one night after a six hour car journey. The bar/restaurant was a welcome site. Warm with a real fire, packers, and with a buzz. The lasagne and steak we ate were great. The bedrooms are in a separate building 10 yards away. They were clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable. We had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was across in the other building. The lady serving was full of warmth and joy and served a fabulous full Welsh breakfast. We would stay again. More...

I booked a meal for thirty of our family, to celebrate my 80th birthday on the evening of 25th October 2019. Everyone was happy with the superb meal provided and the atmosphere was great. Our special thanks to Amy and her waiters for being so attentive and for very quick service at the tables. I belong to a pensioners club and we have been to the Old Barn numerous times for lunch. We have always been welcomed there, and the food has always been excellent, with a really good choice of menu. Our club have also booked for our annual Christmas lunch to be held there. Just turned up about 1830 on a Tuesday evening in September 2019.|Order a early bird home made beef and Ale pie, chip and peas, followed by a wicked desert, wife had Lamb and dauphinoise potatoes also followed by chocolate desert all excellent highly recommended. no complaints.
