One of the either new or re-launched (the latter in this case) pubs / bars that have comprised Kendal’s beer renaissance. While perhaps not the smartest pub in the world, the New Union is a comfortable pub with a real fire and a fine changing collection of beer always in very good condition . It also specialises in cider. It holds beer festivals and other events and was an outdoor but sheltered refuge during Covid, when regulations allowed. More...
