Visited the Manor Barn on a Friday early evening. Upon arrival, there was a large party but the staff (particularly Matty) went out of their way to accommodate us and make us feel welcome. Last night was our engagement party. The staff and DJ were brilliant from start to finish. The venue was outstanding. Clean, tidy and beautiful. Quite a few years since we last visited but came today to celebrate my dad’s 70th and grab a Carvery and cannot believe how much it’s improved! Not terrible before but now everything has been turned up to eleven. The meat and sundries were fantastic and the manager (Charlotte?) and other staff were so welcoming and friendly it felt more like a large family dinner atmosphere. Been here today for the first time with my family. After seeing reviews on Facebook about the micro carvery we had to go and try it out for ourselves as the food looked delicious. Boy we wasn't disappointed we ordered 2 micro carverys shared between 4 of us and there was plenty to go around everything was home cooked the kids had home cooked chips nuggets/fishfingers and they thoroughly enjoyed it we all had desserts which were delicious. Have had a couple of functions here in the past 18 months... Management very accommodating. Access with ease to decorate before the parties. .. Bar staff very kind, considerate and helpful. Food good - especially the chips! Lovely atmosphere - also fairy lights nice to be able to have Staff checked in with us regularly to check all ok and were accommodating of allergies which guests had.
