What do you love most about your job?
Music & Entertaining!
The original band members met at Weston College as tutors and soon found that we shared a passion for good quality Funk and Soul music. The Man from Funkle was born out of this passion and we initially put together a Funk, Soul, Disco set covering classic songs from the Seventies by such artists as: Chic, Kool and the Gang, Stevie Wonder, The Jackson 5, Sam and Dave, Sister Sledge etc.
The band has evolved over the years and our extensive Playlist now contains popular music from many genres including: modern pop and rock, disco and funk, soul and R’n’B
What inspired you to start your own business?
Initially a love of Music and at the beginning we noticed a gap in the Wedding band/Function market for good quality Funk, Soul and Disco Music. Played by musicians who understand and have a passion for the genre . Since then we have broadened our repertoire to cover Modern Pop and Rock too...
Why should our clients choose you?
Because we are passionate about what we do and although we are playing covers of popular songs we add our own 'funky' twist to make us stand out from the crowd.
