Fantastic restaurant with great and very responsive stuff! We had our daughters christening party there last Sunday and it was really amazing experience! Food was delicious, stuff was very thoughtful ( big thank you to our waitress Sam!) and decor is beautiful. Really lovely place. First time we went after it was redone and got very pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared. The decor inside is beautiful and I really enjoyed the real log fire! You really don't have to go all the way to Edinburgh central areas to enjoy a lovely evening. Management respond very quickly to any queries prior to visit. Lovely warm welcome, food excellent, very reasonable kids menu, kids meals served prior to adults to give them a little time to cool down - fab idea. Only criticism is I felt the service was a little slow and french fries should also be an option on the menu. Lovely ambience very much back to the old Peacock feeling as opposed to the barn like feel of the previous establishments. Also looks fab for a few drinks with friends or family.
