Piano Lessons
We provide 1-2-1 Piano Lessons at Lion Academy. We have 5 dedicated Studios for Students to propell to Musical success.
We have a sound-proofed recording Studio with a dedicated student portal, with additional online resources as well as the benefit of 1-2-1 in person or Zoom lessons.
We also have Schimmel upright piano, Schimmel Grand Piano (Grades 6-8 only) & Yamaha Cp1 for students to learn.
We teach Children from 6+ and adults. We tailor our Piano lessons to our students aims and interests. We also provide house recorded examinations with the following exam boards: ABRSM, RSL, MTB, Trinity & LCM.
Singing Lessons
We Provided 1-2-1 Singing Lessons at our studio. We have 2 Singing tutors that provide tuition in Singing.
We focus on building confidence, Vocal Technique and building safe long lasting singing skills.
We have a vast collection of Repertoire and can provide singing lessons with a focus on Classical and Folk, Musical Theatre or Pop and Rock.
Furthermore out clients can record professional sounding demos and learn microphone technique in their lessons too.
Adults and Children are both welcome and we have slots during the day and evenings Monday - Saturday.
Acoustic & Electric Guitar Lessons
The Lion Academy of Music is very passionate about Guitar and we offer expert tuition with a relaxed but encouraging approach. We offer 1-2-1 lessons in Guitar, with a focus on Acoustic, Electric or Classical repertoire.
In your Guitar lessons you will learn key skills and build the foundations of learning in safe, fun and engaging way.
Students will have the opportunity to learn about Guitar pedals, amplifiers the latest modern technology in the Guitar world.
We give students the chance to learn traditional written notation and or modern tablature. Whether your interested in Pop, Rock, Indie, Metal, Reggae, Classical or Spanish – We’ve got you covered!
We have a 100% exam pass rate and regularly submit students in exams with these current boards ABRSM, LCM, RSL (Rockschool) and Trinity College London.
Drum Lessons
The Lion Academy is ready to Rock! We offer expert 1-2-1 tuition Drum Lessons. If your interested in Rock and Heavy Metal or Jazz and Classical or even Hip Hop and R & B we cover Drum teaching across the whole musical spectrum.
In your Drum lessons you will learn how to develop coordination and rhythmical cohesion. Lion Academy will teach students to play by ear but also how to read Drum music and play along with other players and backing tracks.
Lion Academy also offers Classical study of Orchestral Percussion. Perfect for Orchestral and Brass Band Repertoire. Furthermore students can explore latin percussion and hybrid Drums using Cajon, Congas, Bongos and hand percussion.
We have a 100% exam pass rate in ABRSM, LCM, LAMDA and Trinity College London.
