What inspired you to start your own business?
In 2009, our Chairman Jack was on a mission to reimagine the way letting agents were operating in our city. He wanted to offer Bristol something different. The approach should be fresh. It should be non-corporate, friendly and approachable – an agent fit for our city.
And today, in its simplest form, The Letting Game is a letting agency that wants to do more, that wants to push the boundaries of the industry, and that takes immense pleasure from being at the top of its game.

You can relax, The Letting Game has everything covered; from maintaining your ever-changing legal obligations to the day-to-day management of your tenants and your property, including maintenance and emergencies. We’ll also organise and manage the local contractors required to maintain the property and you can choose for us to use your own if preferred.
Every aspect of our property management is underpinned by our award-winning personal service. You’ll have a dedicated Bristol-based Property Manager who’ll take away the hassle, whilst keeping you up to date with any news. HMO Letting and Management Services
We’re an experienced Bristol letting agent with expertise in letting and managing both professional and student HMOs. If you want help finding new tenants, or you want us to take away the hassle of managing multiple tenants and property maintenance, we can help. Our experienced valuers can even help you decide if turning your property into an HMO is right for you, including guidance on HMO compliance rules and requirements. We know how challenging it can be to stay on top of the licensing, planning, and ever-changing legislation for HMO’s, that’s where we play differently to the others – we have our own dedicated HMO & Compliance Manager there to support you, whether it be advising you on changes to legislation or attending a council inspection visit on your behalf. We can also offer advice on turning your property into a new HMO, including licensing and planning requirements. Fully Managed and Rental Protection
In addition to our professional Fully Managed services you can choose to add our Rental Protection Insurance plan.
Not only will you receive up to 15 months’ of rental arrears (after one months unpaid rent up to £50,000), you’ll also get cover for 75% of the monthly rent up to 2 months after the tenants formally leave the property.
We also take away the worry of dealing with evictions of unauthorised occupants, after the expiry of a valid Section 21 notice, or due to a serious breach of tenancy.
