I was an Olympic gymnast in the 80s and ended my career with a broken knee. Thankfully I was fixed up in LA at the time but for the last 40 years I've lived with residual pain in my knee and shoulder from another injury.

I reached out to Damien to see if he could help with my shoulder. When I mentioned my knee he told me he could fix them both. 30 minutes later he'd worked on my back and neck and completely released my shoulder, then he worked on my right knee.

Leaving his treatment room was the first time in 40years I walked without residual pain. It's hard to describe the release of something I'd learned to live with and when a level of pain becomes normal, but after the treatment I feel spacious, lighter and greater ease and smoothness in my knee joint. My shoulder has released so much I feel a freedom of movement much more than before (despite also having a disciplined yoga practice of over ten years).

I've had a range of health problems / low immunity and chronic fatigue symptoms since I got glandular fever ten years ago (when I was a university student). Since then I've tried so many holistic and medical therapies, none of which helped.

One of my main issues was neck and shoulder pain which would go down my arm, I guess along a nerve to my thumb. It also radiated down into my back and under my shoulder blades where nothing could help. For many years it affected my sleep (and I was once prescribed tramadol by the doctors as nothing else would allow me to sleep.) Nothing ever helped it, acupuncture, massage, the list is endless...
