Really enjoyed our meal, very attentive and food is excellent. The waitress asked us if it was a special occasion, we told her it was our anniversary. We were recommended to visit the George, so we decided to book a table for our Anniversary. We visited Friday 6th October, The atmosphere was lovely, the building looks amazing both inside and out.
We ordered the Charcuterie Board to start, This comes with garlic mayonnaise, however I believe dipping oils would have tasted better. Maybe a roasted garlic for flavour. The dish came and didnt have the 'variety of warm breads' or the 'selection of cheeses'. There was 1 cheese and 1 variety of bread. We made the waitress aware of this, however she did not come back to us, nothing was mentioned to us throughout our meal, nor did an apology.
For Main we ordered Fillet Steak and Beef wellington. Both had amazing flavours and presented really well. The staff were attentive when it came to our drinks orders.
Wasn't very busy in the restaurant. Was in the bar.
Great place, we would visit again.

What a great place this is! A little gem. The atmosphere was relaxing and the interior was beautiful. The staff were attentive and I couldn't fault the service. The gin menu had many different and unique cocktails worth trying! The menu was very impressive and our food was delightful, would definitely recommend the sea bass which was served with a yummy risotto. My friend had the pork which also looked delicious. The wine was also great and the bar staff were very knowledgable and entertaining. Would definitely recommend! More...

Saturday 27th January, birthday party for husbands birthday 33friends and family Many staying overnight, what a fantastic occasion this was, thanks to Nazalee and her team everything was perfect, we viewed many Venues, fortunately we chose the best.
The service, the way they laid out the tables was perfect, and then the worrying bit, we had long discussions with the new chef, who was prepared to listen and take on board all our thoughts, well the chef and his team need a few more stars, the food was superb, not a single complaint everybody without exception loved it, we are now receiving many thank you’s and they all mention how great the food, venue
And service were. Thank you all so much
A special thank you to. Nazalee, who is charming, efficient, and like her chef willing to listen to our needs and then provide exactly what you have asked for. Could’ t have been happier.
