Top comedy names at great prices, and a brilliant venue! Compere Stephen Grant is honestly one of the best and most experienced in the UK - he's incredible, so quick witted, and lovely to boot - and I think Komedia Brighton really messed up by letting him out of their hands after 23 years. Their loss and the Ironworks Studios Brighton gain!! And it really shows as so many top comedians such as Sara Pascoe, Zoe Lyons and Romesh Ranganathan are following him and doing incredible shows with him at the Forge Comedy Club to intimate audiences - what a treat for us!! Not to be missed. Thanks for always putting on such a good show Stephen. 🎉 More...

Beats Komedia hands down! Just come away from visiting the venue for the first time after being a regular visitor to the Komedia for almost 15 years. Stephen Grant gave Dara ó Briain a run for his money this evening with his quick witted front row conversations and Sara Pascoe & Zoe Lyons were fecking great. Loved the space, comfy, intimate, colourful, really friendly team running it, great bar and PIZZA!. We will definitely be back. Hope there's some kind of members thing as we'd go for it. More...

The best comedy venue I have been to! First visit and I’ll be going back for more. Great location, easy parking, the loveliest staff, great bar serving Brighton beer, and intimate seating in the studio itself - it really doesn’t matter where you sit because you’ll see it all (except at the front - you might not want to sit there unless you want to be pulled up by the ever so brilliant compère Stephen Grant. ) Stephen is one of the best comperes around. Terrific energy, sharp, and funny as f@*k. He is every bit as funny as the line-up. (Kevin Precious you should take notes!) Ans what a line up we had - Andy Adkins. Zoe Lyons AND Sarah Pascoe - all on the SAME night!! Laughed all night and can’t wait to go back for more! More...

Just brilliant, I used to love Komedia and then I discovered here, same great acts and the best compare ever, but in a space far more suited for a performance, no longer do you have to worry about ending up in a seat where you can't see or hear the performace properly and right next to the station, win win!!!

I was worried that when Krater died we wouldn't see these acts again in Brighton. Brilliant night out!

The Forge is a brilliant venue for comedy! I was lucky to go along for the opening night with Romesh Ranganathan, Jen Bristow and Joe Wells. I was struck by the sheer quality of comedian and, as always, found Stephen Grant a masterful compere. The seating is brilliant and gives a fun and intimate vibe with fantastic views from all angles. The food that was on was high quality and reasonably priced. All in all, top marks and I'll definitely be going as often as possible. More...

We had a fantastic evening of premier quality comedy at the Forge Club in the Ironworks in Brighton on Saturday night. The staff were very friendly and the bar service very efficient. For a new comedy club to attract a comedian of the caliber of Romesh Ranganathan on its debut opening has to be unprecedented. If you want to laugh then the Forge is for you. More...

If the comedy club is anything as good as Stephen Grant then it will be an amazing addition to Brighton. Good luck to you all.
