Really really liked it here. Been a few times now. Staff friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Visited as the building is National Trust. Check out those witches circles by the fire place to stop those witches going down the chimney (a suppose it's like a Halloween Santa ). Great food here, super atmosphere. Nice and cozy inside. Be sure to leave time for parking as spaces fill up in good weather. Would recommend a visit. More...

A unique and cosy pub that's well worth a visit. There are four dining rooms with a wood fire in each and a handful of tables, giving an intimate vibe. We had lunch on a Monday and were surprised that almost every table was taken. Service was very quick and our sausage and mash main was generous and tasty. I wasn't so impressed with dessert, the pastry on my strudel was dense and hard. They sell a range of country wines though, and I was excited to taste cowslip wine for the first time. Outside they have a very rustic barn with a bar that would be perfect for a summer party and the surrounding village is picturesque. More...

Tip top food & tasty ales. What more could you want? A special place of ancient character. We even stayed overnight in the splendid Master’s Bedchamber.

Quaint little pub with good food and local people. If you sit next to the fire be sure to chuck a log on now and again. If you're an ale drinker, I recommend the pigs ear.

Loved our table next to the big open fire. - Good locally sourced food. Nice local drinks as well as Pershore apple juice and Spotloggins ice cream.
