Couldn't fault the team! From start to finish they were great, stayed in touch, did ALOT of chasing when it came to certain issues. Never stopped until all was resolved. They answered all questions, im sure some seemed daft as a first time buyer, but never made me feel like anything was too hard for them. We used Dan and the team to purchase our first home as were recommended them by somebody who had already dealt with them. Initially it was quite scary and did not want to be mithered or be in undated with cold callers and sales people, Dan however was the complete opposite, he took over and did everything from start to finish ! Absolute amazing people who give you there full attention throughout, guiding you through everything step by step ( and in my eyes breaking complicated terms down to make them more understandable!). We have been using The Financial Detectives since we bought our first house in 2005 and I would thoroughly recommend them. Dan redoes our mortgage every couple of years, he also sorted everything out when we moved again. Deb and Jess are lovely and have sorted out all our life and house insurances for us. Dan has also sorted out a policy trust fund for us. They literally make it so easy for you and they're so professional yet I feel as though I can chat to them like friends. Thank you to Dan and the team at The Financial Detectives for an excellent service, from start to finish. After putting in an offer on a new home and putting ours on the market, we needed to secure additional borrowing. Dan presented us with the various options available to us, in terms of taking additional borrowing with the same bank, or paying off our existing mortgage and getting a new deal. He presented the pros and the cons clearly, in plain English and really took on board our financial priorities that we had discussed at the start.We got a great deal on a new mortgage and all of the paperwork was arranged for us with no difficulties. The team were very proactive in monitoring our sale and purchase exchange/completions and kept in regular contact to the end.
