The Drum Academy specialises in coaching drummers of all abilities from our long established purpose built studio complex right in the centre of Leicester. Ages vary from 9 years to 80 years and the training, whilst being very effective, is always informal and friendly.

I would recommend the Drum Academy. I started drumming at age 46 thinking that I had left it too late but have thoroughly enjoyed over 9 years of lessons covering a whole range of drumming styles. What do you love most about your job?
Being effective in helping people achieve there ambitions and promoting the art of drumming. Meeting people and getting to know many as friends over many years is a real pleasure and privilege.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to make drum lessons as effective as possible and there wasn't many options around at that time
Why should our clients choose you?
Teaching is a very personal thing. We can offer the experience and some highly effective methods for learning drums and achieving a very high standard of playing. But the client must warm to the teacher and it must feel right for them.
