We chose to host our informal wedding reception at The Angel and stayed here the night. As did several friends. Everyone loved the buffet, the outdoor spaces, the bar area which the staff helped to decorate for us too (& helped take it down afterwards! ) The bar staff were very friendly and my mother in law who had to finish decorating our fresh fruit & flower wedding cake was amazed at how accomodating everyone was! Myself and my partner stayed last night,could have been a bit warmer in bar area as was a bit drafty,a nice warm welcome,nice selection of beers,good food,our room was nice and large and bed was comfy,room soon warmed up when we put heater on

Party of six and two kids booked for Sunday Lunch, part of the group were late arriving but this didn't phase them even though the place was mega busy. I can honestly say that the service was second to none, the Sunday roast was outstanding by far the best I have had in a pub. I was in the area today with work. I passed The Angel Inn and it stood out because of the lovely, cosy, country pub look. My meeting finished and I was meeting a colleague for lunch, so I suggested this place . The gentleman behind the bar was really friendly and welcoming and made me feel at home. I had the three course lunch menu, it was out of this world. Garlic mushrooms were creamy and unctuous. Trio of sausage were meaty and hearty and the sticky toffee pudding with custard was the perfect end to my meal. I was even asked to pop back in next time I'm in the area. I will definitely be back when I'm in Long Ashton next. I was also sat in front of a roaring fire place which warmed me through nicely. Lovely place. Just wish it was in South Wales, so I could go there more:D More...
