The Albany has its moments. Cafe is consistently poor but it's a good place to meet people and is well used by community groups. The garden is lovely and my favourite thing about it.I have booked meeting rooms here for courses and they are very competitively priced but tend to suffer from external noise or airlessness. Not very comfortable. A bit utilitarian but for the price can't expect anything else. The theatre is great and has wide range if productions. More...

The Albany at Deptford is doing a lot for the youth in SE London. They also have an amazing theatre and other spaces for rent.

Nice place to go to socialise with friends. They cater for everyone including people with learning difficulties and disabilities. They have different things going on in the many rooms that they have there. They also have tea dances, performances and sometimes evening entertainment . Here to see Charles Hayward tonight and a new line up of his former band This Heat. Always a nice venue to come too, the sound in the round has plenty of punch for a small theatre.
