Temple of Peace

We got married here in March 2019. It was really lovely and our guests really enjoyed the venue - we got some beautiful dramatic photos in the marble hall and everyone enjoyed the drinks reception. Ian in particular was stellar - he was there at all our viewings and nothing was too much trouble. He was also the absolute embodiment of calm when half our guests and the groom got stuck in Six Nations traffic and were delayed by almost an hour. Great experience and really stunning venue.Our only disappointment was that between booking and our wedding, a lot of panels and photos were out up in the hall and reception areas. They are interesting panels about the building's history, but they take away from the architectural simplicity of the venue that we loved and had a negative impact on some of our photos - it is a shame that they are not removable. But this is a very minor point - overall it was an excellent and reasonably priced venue. Would strongly recommend. And it's an absolute bonus that your money goes to the charity that runs the temple, so will go towards keeping this beautiful place up and running! More...

A truly beautiful space for reflection. Cool marbles and emerald green squares patterning on the ceiling reminds me of the emerald majesty of God. Of course Jesus said ' Blessed are the Peace makers' and Peace is a fruitage of the whole spirit of Love. I love this space for All who love peace what ever doctrine ( or not) they may come from. We can only have Peace and Health and oneness through Love of others as self for the Oneness of Love through the greater good whom I, and many call God. Two fold peace among men and women is how we get to Heaven on Earth. Wonderful acoustics too to sing praises for Love and Peace. To have Peace we must be peaceable and I pray wars will soon cease. The memorials of soldiers from World War 1 must remind us to keep Peace. More...

I've been lucky enough to use the Temple of Peace for some of my teaching (yoga) and what a venue it is... It's just such a beautiful space, with such a sense of calm and peace - and the staff are all superb. This venue is ideal for conferences and large meetings. It is a city centre venue with good access to transport links. Staff are very Professional, friendly and helpful.

We brought our FAN community, friends and supporters together. The venue staff were extremely supportive throughout the planning and delivery of the event. The catering was copious, inviting and unobtrusively delivered and cleared away... and the building is stunning! More...
