After many many years of working for large and small developers, construction companies and construction product companies. I found that, in any job role I was not able to utilise all the skills I had built up in over 45 years in the industry. Each previous role had its own specific remit, never allowing for my creative thoughts and ideas.
After watching from the sidelines for many years I felt that people wanted an individual service that was there to create the home or home improvement of their dreams.
I finally took the plunge in 2019 and set up TeKKWise with my wife, Fran, providing architectural services, Project Management and Site Management. Since that time the company has gone from strength to strength and we are now gathering clients locally as well as further afield.

TeKWise is a friendly, and progressive architectural practice on the edge of the Somerset Levels. Keith has over 45 years experience in the construction industry and has build up a vast amount of experience in all aspects of design and project management. We have the ability and expertise to take your idea, create a design to suit your needs and wishes and oversee the whole build, if needed, right up to completion. Keith has experience in modern methods of construction and is passionate about the development of Eco Homes.
We are always keen to listen to your needs and wishes and encompass these in your final design/project.

We can provide and online /remote service, however we pride ourselves on giving each project our personal attention and building a trusting rapport with our clients. We find it is often better to meet face to face where possible to exchange thoughts and ideas. We believe that seeing people provides a better understanding of the future clients needs and aspirations towards their intended build.

Covid 19 Procedures

The majority of our work is already completed at our office, this will continue as normal.
Tekkwise Ltd uses the NHS track and trace app.

Meetings:
Meetings will be held via phone or video conferencing wherever possible. Face to face meetings will only be held if absolutely necessary to complete a project. In the event of a face-to-face meeting being required we will keep a minimum of 2m away and will be wearing a mask for face covering. Hand sanitiser will be used, as necessary. No documentation will be passed over to alleviate any contacted surface sharing.

Site Survey work/s and on-site Presence COVID compliant:
Before entering the site / property location for the measured survey to be carried out, we will call to ensure that the site is clear and able to accept us; we will keep a minimum of 2m away and will be wearing a mask for face coverings. Only when it is possible to and permitted will masks be lowered for communications standing back further than 2m; Hand sanitiser will be used upon entry and after leaving the property. No documentation will be passed over to alleviate any contacted surface sharing. All information will be shared on emails or WeTransfer format (drawing data if too BIG a file size).
