I grew in confidence, motivation, discipline and respect. I grew into a better version of myself. I have practiced martial arts on and off for over 20+ years and have experienced several clubs and academies. In my honest and humble opinion Tan'Gun Taekwondo ranks as one of the best. I was a late starter to Taekwondo but managed to attain my 1st Dan under the instruction of Master David. This Academy is suitable for children, adults and families a like. The instructors are pleasant, knowledge and proficient in their teaching. They are honest, open and fair. I have previously recommended both friends and family and wouldn't hesitate to do so again. I would honestly say Tan'Gun is the best place to learn Taekwondo in the Bexleyheath/Welling/Sidcup and surrounding area. More...

My daughter has been attending classes for just over 4 years starting just before turning 5. As a father who suffered from shyness as a boy I wanted my daughter to develop confidence and as well as that she has gained so much more. Master David has been key to that. A larger than life character, who has a rare connection almost instantly with the children. Garnering an environment of discipline and mutual respect. I cannot recommend this place more strongly.
