I have been to one of Janets training mornings and bought the book. I've even read it!! The thing I learned from janet is that i'm under selling myself and have rethought. Janet has created a fantastic sales course that I have spent the last two days attending. Her delivery is excellent; she is friendly, understanding and supportive; the course content was relevant, interesting, easy to understand and full of practical tools that can be implemented immediately.

Janet has the ability to deliver the right amount of info in the right amount of time; I didn't get bored or lose concentration and the interactive element of the course helps to keep you engaged throughout.

I would highly recommend working with Janet and I will absolutely be attending future courses that she runs. Thanks Janet!

Janet is tremendously energetic and just being around her makes you feel more confident and then she deploys her skills. Effective sales be them in person, by phone or via Linkedin require behavioural shifts and a high degree of empathy. If what you're doing isn't producing the result you want YOU must adjust.My experience working for Yellow Pages in the 90's apparently hardened me and I lack Janet's passion, humour and engagement.These are the very skills required to impart her enormous catalogue of knowledge. I am rarely impressed by adults whereas I am continually reminded what luminescence radiates from Janet in all our interactions.I trained and coached well over 1000 sales people and managers in my previous life. I love helping people sell more!

So many people have a fear (or at least a nervousness) about selling, believing it is about forcing your opinion on someone else. In fact, the opposite is true - great selling is actually about HELPING people. It's about working out what their problems or goals are and helping them solve their problems or achieve their goals. What could be better?

The bit that gives me the real kick is when you are with a client and they experience that 'lighbulb' moment, where they realise that they actually can do a thing, or that a problem they have been struggling with suddenly vanishes. That sort of thing is priceless and that's what makes me get out of bed in the morning!

I was unemployable!

I worked with my husband for 17 years running a private college. That closed in 2012 when The Home Office took away licences from 500 private colleges because there were so many bogus colleges enrolling foreign students (not us by the way, but it was a political thing). I started to look for work and realised that I no longer fitted in corporate any more, so the obvious thing seemed to be to start out on my own.

I did 7 years with Xerox as well as 17 running the business development side of things at the college, so I knew I could sell. I had also taught for a big chunk of that 17 years so it seemed obvious - become a sales trainer.

Best decision I ever made.

What makes me different from other sales trainers and business coaches is that I don't do fluff. Sales training must deliver results and that means money. It could be turnover, but I would prefer it to be profit! Here are some examples of what I have helped some of my clients achieve:

1. Barbara went from £5,000 revenue a month to £12,000 a month after dong 3 short courses with me over a period of 9 months.
2. Richard's company grew its turnover by 48% in six months (a difference of nearly half a million pounds) after strategic sales coaching
3. I did a survey at the end of 2017 and it showed that 75% of clients who worked with me had increased their turnover by at least 25% with a whole 50% saying that they had increased their turnover by more than 50%

Put simply, I don't use gimmicks, I don't use 'secret' systems, I just use simple proven techniques that I have learned in a lifetime of sales. 1. LinkedIn Profile Writing - 3 hours where I do it all with you and you walk out with a lovely complete profile
2. Building your Business with LinkedIn - 3 hours where I show you how I use LInkedIn as a sales tool. All my biggest (and best) customers have come from LinkedIn - it is a super sales tool if you know what to do!
