The MA in Creative Entrepreneurship is brilliant, it has only been one term so far and has already completely changed my thinking on how to look at life as a freelancer. It feels like we are on the crest of the wave and the research we are doing is really exciting. I would definitely recommend it! More...

I could never put a price on everything I've learned during my time at lccm. If you decide to go which I would highly recommend, you will meet amazing people and have many beautiful experiences. I arrived at lccm with hardly any music knowledge but the tutors are extremely good at what they do, especially being patient hahah as time goes on you can notice that you're becoming a well rounded musician with relevant knowledge to help you in the industry. I'm studying drums and I don't think I could of asked for three better tutors, They all have something special and unique to offer you. More...

I've been having private drum lessons at LCCM with Jack Painting for the past 16 months, a fantastic experience and I've reached a decent level quickly with the dedication and experience of the weekly private tutoring. Thanks LCCM!

Did the one year drums course in 2010 and had a great time.
Tuition is very focused with a clear aim to develop the students artistry and relevant skills rather than making them 'clinic' or flashy musicians.
The equipment is good and you can practise for 3 hours per day in booths on top of your other rehearsal time.
Skill sets taught are useful and relevant like harmony and composition so you leave being able to do more than just play your instrument. There are also lots of opportunities to get involved with other student projects like songwriting or production work which is really fun.
It's great to play real music with horn players and big line ups at the workshops and all the gigs (about 25 per year) are at real venues round London rather than the safety of the college.
I still have plenty of material from my drum classes that has kept me going up until and for years to come.
Recommended if you want an intelligent alternative to the rock and pop colleges where you get to play a lot, meet like minded people and be taught by some great musicians.
