Sophia from Surrey Estates has been really kind and helpful throughout a very difficult sale. She was always easy to communicate with, and although we were buying through them , as opposed to selling, she treated us very fairly and did a great job of keeping all parties as happy as possible in trying circumstances.

We purchased a property through Luke and the team at Surrey Estates. The level of service and attention provided was exemplary at all stages from our initial viewing through to completion. Having dealt with a number of estate agents during our property search Surrey Estates really stood out in providing not only honest unvarnished views (not always a given when dealing with an estate agent trying to sell a house!) as well as professional service and preparedness (again, Luke personally attended all our viewings, and was able to address in detail all our concerns and queries, whereas other agents provided either very junior staff or other unable to answer any queries on the day). Luke and Sophia were a great team. Through some very tricky negotiations and unpredictable behaviour, they consistently exceeded our expectations with direct and honest communication and feedback. They really know their market well and sold my central Guildford house twice whilst still retaining our offer on our perfect house. What I loved most was that they would call me unprompted to give me updates and review situations. When Luke came to see me to discuss selling my house in Guildford I did not have high hopes for the outcome. I had had a very disappointing experience with another agent; there had been several wasted months and I was feeling quite stressed. But I was immediately impressed with his approach and the time he took to explain everything.From the minute he and his team took on the challenge, they never let up. They got me back on the market very quickly with great photos of the house and early viewings. There were several time wasters and one sale where the buyer disappeared. But despite that, they plugged on resourcefully and I had a steady number of viewings. The whole team were unfailingly professional, cheerful, resourceful and completely committed to selling my house. When we decided to let our house we initially went with another very well know property lettings agency as well as Surrey Estates. Well, there was no comparison. Viewings were almost on a daily basis from Surrey Estates, with comprehensive updates and feedback. Proactive doesn’t say enough about Lukes team. We had to get our house on the market extremely quickly so as not to miss out on the property we were interested in buying, and they managed it admirably from a standing start within a couple of days.
