We established our branch in Nantwich in 2019 to provide care for people where they were struggling to access care, such as the rural villages around Nantwich. We hadn't quite made it to our 1 year anniversary when we found ourselves in a global pandemic.

Previously worked 2yrs in a care home. I’ve worked about 5 months with this company but already I’ve received so much support. At times I’ve had doubts whether or not I am cut out for community care as it’s very different to the care home setting but the brilliant communication between everyone from fellow carers, senior, leads and even the directors certainly makes me feel supported. There is always someone at the other end of the phone ready to help. They value your opinion and welcome your suggestions or concerns regarding the clients care. Everyone I’ve worked with genuinely care about caring for others. The client/carer relationships are so lovely. It’s comforting to see that the two company directors and senior staff are very much involved and are always ready to roll up their sleeves and help out. I have worked for sure care for nearly a year now and took a complete career change by doing so. It's the best career change I have ever made. The managers are very supportive and encouraging and go out of there way to make u feel supported, and ,colleagues and clients are all wonderful. I struggle with my hearing and having to wear hearing aids in both ears can sometimes become a struggle. Sure Care have always supported me in any difficulties I have and don't treat me any differently to anyone else but their support is second to none and I really appreciate it. What do you love most about your job?
Being able to support people to remain independent and living in their own homes where they feel the happiest. Also building a fantastic team providing only the very highest levels of care for people who need support.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being able to work with a friend and colleague and create a business that people are proud to work for and has a great reputation for providing the best care for people who need it.
Why should our clients choose you?
Because we genuinely care. We always stay for the full call time, if people have completed their 'tasks' they sit with people and get to know them to build a relationship. We are incredibly punctual and communicate well with our clients and their families.

No we can't support people online or remotely as we provide support for people face-to-face.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We increased our cleaning and hygiene routines around high use areas such as kitchens and bathrooms and of course door handles.
All staff are fully trained in infection control and correct use of their PPE.
Personal Care
Assistance with washing, bathing or showering and using appropriate equipment to give support.
Oral care.
Assisting to dress / undress encouraging changing of clothes when required.
Pad changes and catheter care.
Meal planning
Assisting with meal preparation or providing a meal from scratch.
Washing, drying and putting away dishes ensuring a clean and hygienic kitchen.
Monitoring for good nutrition and providing advice and support on meal planning.
Assisting those who require support feeding themselves including through a PEG.
Medication administration
Prompting people to take medications and/or assisting by undoing tops and collecting prescriptions to allow people to maintain their independence and administer their own medications.
Administering medications and keeping a record of medication taken on a daily basis for those who cannot administer their own medications.
Exercise
Encouraging people to complete exercise at home such as armchair exercises and specific muscle group exercises to support specific conditions.
Assisting and encouraging people to walk around the home, garden or outdoors with company of the carer(s).
Companionship
Sitting with people to complete activities whilst family members take a break.
Accompanying to appointments such as doctors, dentist, hairdressers.
Taking people out for visits to shops, garden centres, parks, church groups, community activities etc.
Sleeping or waking nights
Providing overnight support, sometimes short term following a hospital stay or longer term to give reassurance for family members and to ensure the client remains safe and able to live in their own home.
Respite or holiday care
Providing short term care to allow family or friends a break from their caring duties. This allows people to remain in their own home with their surroundings which they are most comfortable with.
