Bethany has been a godsend to our family as companionship for my elderly mother. She willingly takes mum out to lunch at various places around Launceston, Nothing is too much trouble for Bethany, she loads the wheelchair and assists mum to and from the car and if the weather is too inclement she will turn up at mums with a hamper of food to share whilst putting the world to rights. Just enjoyed our first stay at this beautiful shack. the hostess is so friendly and welcoming. the shack it's self is very cosy and well decorated with good amenities. There is lots to do in the area within around a 30-45 min drive. We had a lovely meal in the local pub. there is 3 pigs just by the shack which brought some light entertainment through their antics. the tripod BBQ fire pit was amazing for cooking on and we enjoyed some smoked ribs. We think the shack would benefit from a hot tub, but not having one wouldn't stop us from coming back. we're hoping to book again soon as we can't wait to come back 🙂 More...

Have just returned home after a 3 night stay. The Shack is an amazing place to stay, very private with all the amenities you need, the bed is super comfortable and the outside area is superb, with lots of seating a fire pit and a pond, just across the way are the Pigs who are delightful. We ordered a couple of the Food Hampers on offer which were huge and of the highest quality ingredients. would thoroughly recommend a stay. More...
