I booked a block of sports massages with Akos to help with my recovery when training for a marathon. He also gave me tips for warming up and stretching to help avoid getting an injury. Would recommend him for anyone training for an event. More...

What an absolute hero this man is! I am training for a 50 mile walk and noticed my back was a wee bit sore when walking. Akos got in touch off his own back and has completely opened my eyes to the way I’ve been doing things! He has shown me so many helpful things and to top it all off, gave me, my first sports massage! A year after my struggle with debilitating back pain started, Akos measured and assessed my movements, then put me on a personalised course of exercises. Notwithstanding the continued maintenance effort to which I mostly adhere, I can now state that I run, cycle and swim completely pain free. Booked in with akos for a sports massage after being recommended by a friend. I was really impressed with the service. He can give appointments that suit people working full time and is very flexible with availability. Very professional and makes you feel at ease. I got in touch with Akos after he was highly recommended by a friend. Due to my work and lifestyle I hardly find the time and motivation to workout at the gym. I decided to try the training with personal trainer just for few sessions at first... Since the beginning he had a very professional approach. He asked the right questions for creating a personal training program and diete to address all my needs and requirements. Sometimes I struggle to keep the pace, posture and smile on my face but always feel great after workout. Tired but happy. Atmosphere is always great for whole workout, I always have fun during the trainings because of his sense of humor even if he say "just 2 more" when I think I can't do any more I also appreciated that he constantly repeeting me " You can do it!" One of the most challenging things I have tried in the last few years is going to a personal trainer. I started with Akos at Strongest Me Fitness and Lifestyle Coaching just over a year ago with a goal of trying to improve my strength and mobility. However a postural assessment revealed muscular imbalances, poor posture and ranges of motion in certain joints so it was agreed to focus on these first. Today following my assessment I'm continuing to make slow but steady progress towards addressing these issues. No dramatic before and after pictures - but I'm starting to see and feel the differences. There's a few extra centimetres of movement here, a few extra degrees of rotation there and the imbalances and posture are improving. It's been really frustrating at times with the glacial pace of change and Akos has been challenged to keep me focussed and motivated. He's always been very professional and helpful injecting humour and variety into the sessions. The habit of doing regular stretching and corrective exercises has been tough to form but I'm getting there. It's not over yet but I've turned a corner. More...

I have started my personal training with Akos last month. I never did the gym work myself before, finding it boring (I prefer team sports). However, the comprehensive service he provides (workout, nutrition and wellbeing, training plan updates etc.) changed my perception. I like his personal approach to my specific needs. I can recommend Akos to all the people like me who were not convinced with gym - if you can't do it yourself or don't know what, let someone who knows what he's doing take care of you. However it would be beneficial to be able to use the gym as part of the membership (perhaps with some extra fee) - a room for improvement? More...

I started training with Akos last January to prepare for a cycle from Skye to Aberdeen. I never had a trainer before and had rarely being to a gym. I felt slightly apprehensive at my first session but I couldn't have found a better trainer than Akos. He focused on my diet and exercise which is just what I needed. He continually pushed me to get better and stronger. I can honestly say there wasn't a single training session with Akos that I didn't enjoy. Training with Akos was informative, personal, motivating and rewarding. He is professional and encouraging and he helped me reach goals and deliver results. He offers a nice blend of chat/banter and getting to work, the drills were varied and I genuinely looked forward to our sessions. He was not narrow minded, and by that I mean that he was totally adaptable to when my goals changed and it took time to make the changes. Akos is amazing I was diagnosed with chondromalacia patella at a young age I've never been able to do much for the pain but not anymore thanks to Akos am pain free able to move better I was in and out of physo for years was told I would need walking sticks don't use or need them once again thank you so much.

I first started training with Akos in April in a last minute panic in the lead up to an event I had signed up to. Never in a million years did I think I would love it so much that I am still there. I had done all the diets going and various exercising but what I have learned has been fantastic. Lifting weights is very addictive and I have learned so much about eating habits. I actually enjoy going to the gym and it doesn't feel like it's a chore. My lifestyle has completely changed and when people comment on my progress it is all worthwhile. I am stronger and healthier and hope to continue to improve. Would definitely recommend Akos as a PT. More...

It's taken me far to long to right this review about Akos. I started training with him over a year ago, I didn't really know what I wanted to get out of my PT sessions when I started But it didn't take me long before I was hooked. After putting on weight and being ill for a while Akos gave me the confidence I needed to get back to the gym. Every training session was different, every time I learnt something new about fitness and nutrition, every morning after I was sore, and everyday I started to feel better about myself. I couldn't sum Akos up in one word but trust me when I say he's funny (sometimes), honest, caring and knows exactly what he's talking about. Whether you want to tone up, lose weight or just feel better about yourself Akos is definitely the right guy...I definitely wasn't his biggest success story at the time but I'm now in New Zealand and have signed up to do a half marathon and a triathlon in a few months. I would NEVER of had the guts to do that if it wasn't for him! (I still hate press ups though) !! Thanks Akos x More...

So after traing now with Akos for some time a review is defiantly overdue. I had my first meeting back at the end of March after my sister recommended the guys at CN Fitness, had never done any weight training before but wanted to do it properly. Akos has been extremely patent and professional from the start, concentrating on getting my form right before moving up with the weights. The programs which he has provided have been great, focusing on differerant areas with a range of new exercises as my strength and form improved. Along with this he has also guided me with my diet, again with encouragement and guidance on what I needed to achieve the maximum gains in my training. With my initial plan of taking just one block of training things soon changed, and have now been training with Akos for over 7 months, and have no intention of giving it up. Akos is an excellent, and patient, Personal Trainer! He has to be when dealing with me ;) I have to say that I have used other personal trainers in the past and whilst it has been useful to be given the training plans, I could have gotten those off the internet somewhere. Akos is giving me more than that. He is ensuring I have good technique and is pushing me more and as a result I am seeing more benefits. I started out with Akos about 14 weeks ago and I am currently at the start of my 2nd set of 10 sessions with him. In the beginning I had never really done that much strength training and originally signed up with him in order to get some guidance on two main points. The first was to lose some body fat and tone up a bit (I am now pleased to say I need a new wardrobe as my clothes are too loose :D) and the second was to stabilise my joints due to recurring injuries in my knees and ankles. I am happy to say that I feel a vast improvement on both, and he is clear with explaining the technique and is always positive in the feedback he gives (I am a firm believer in constructive criticism and that is exactly what you get!). Granted there are some days when I don’t really feel like training, but once I get going I always feel better afterwards – what more can you ask for? Over the last few weeks I have been on a 2 week detox diet that involves very little protein and fats (in order to help remove some allergens I have been recently diagnosed with). I found that my energy levels have been quite low and Akos has been brilliant! He adapted the training plan so that the work out is still challenging without sapping my energy levels which means I can still train and carry on with every day life. Another thing I have taken away from training with Akos is a new mentality to training. Whilst I had never really done traditional ‘cardio’ training before (I focussed mainly on things like TABATA – and still do) I now realise that adding weights (even if it is bodyweight training) is an essential component to losing body fat %. I am now using this knowledge passing it onto my own (martial art) students. So all in all the benefits have been great. More...
