Great bar , friendly & clean . Had a impromptu gathering with friends . Bar staff are friendly and helpful . Ideal location for a nice pint just off the high st . Definitely recommend for a visit

The Griffin is always fantastic. The staff are all cheerful and helpful, the food is always good at a very good price, especially if you go for their daily offers.
You can reserve seating beforehand if you need to as well.
The place itself is a lovely place to be for a nice evening meal and a chat with friends/family or just as a couple.
Worth baring in mind its a pub too, and some nights (like last night) it can get a bit noisy with 3 football matches on 3 different TV's.

14 of us on Wed evening. Nothing was too much trouble. Meals arrived together (Good timing) and orders were correct.

Couldn't fault this hotel at all! Rooms were beautiful. Comfiest bed we have ever slept in and best nights sleep we have had in a long time! Loved the added touch of the earplugs for the music going on downstairs. One night wasn't enough! The staff were fantastic and so friendly and very helpful especially Hannah Grace. Would love the checking out time to be a bit later but that's a very small thing. We didn't want to leave. Thankyou xx More...

We hired out an area in The Vineyard to host a party for our friends and family. Well what can I say, from the very beginning point of initial contact with the manager to trying to set everything up on the day, the staff were so helpful and hospitable. Our guests loved this beautifully decorated pub and we have all come away feeling very pleased and impressed. Great cocktail list and lovely front patio. Great bar with an amazing vibe! I went here for a friend's birthday party and I was pleasantly surprised. The drinks were a tad on the expensive side but a bottle of white for £14 did the trick! The music is pumping and they had some classic tunes to boogie to!Staff are friendly and there's an amazing bit outside the front with loads of tables and chairs. Very cool atmosphere here. I love love the front patio with its awnings and string lighting, the patio provides a nice break from the usual London crowds. Also, inside there are some comfy seats and couches that somehow have a way of making you not want to leave. AND they have Prosecco on tap! More...
