What do you typically expect an estate agent's role? A negotiator between landlord and tenant? Though same is not true because when I heard negative experiences from my friends, I was bit careful. However, my experience with Stephenson Brown (Newcastle) was absolutely positive and different from what I have been hearing. Staff was extremely helpful at most of the occasions, from check-in to check-out. They were considerate of the tenants requirements and provided timely response/action. We have been tenants for years and have dealt with various letting agencies. The experience we had with Stephenson Browne, Newcastle Branch was stress free considering looking for a property is stressful in itself. During the process we were supported from the beginning till the end by Caroline Jones (who we must say is fantastic at her job) and Oliver, despite being new in his job showed great professionalism. The fees were not extortionate compared to other letting agents.
