How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
What will your Personal Training Sessions Include?
I am currently offering a free consultation prior to your first Personal Training Session. Please call me to book.
First Session
Your initial session will be approximately 1 hour and will include:
•Health and Lifestyle Consultation
•Goal Discussion and Setting
•Health and Fitness Measurements
•Postural Analysis
•Workout Session
The health and lifestyle consultation will enable me to gain a good understanding of your present health and fitness status, what activities you have done in the past, what you enjoy and what your aspirations are.
From this discussion we can agree and set realistic goals. These would Include specific targets and time scales. We will track your goals towards success based on a number of health and fitness measurements, specific to you. These could include a selection from the following:
•Weight
•BMI
•Blood Pressure
•Body Fat %
•Skeletal Muscle %
•Visceral Fat
•Resting calories required per day
•Cardio Vascular Tests
•Falls Risk Assessment
•Strength Tests
•General Fitness Tests
A postural assessment will be carried out and corrective exercises will then be included in your program. Improving your posture will allow you to train more effectively, achieving results quicker. Postural correction will make day-to-day living easier, with less pain and risk of injury.
We will also do a workout within your first session, of approximately 30 minutes, appropriate to your goals and fitness level.
Subsequent Sessions
Programs will be designed for subsequent sessions based on your specific needs; postural, current fitness level and specific goals.
Common goals include:
•Increase in General Fitness
•Weight Loss
•Improved Body Composition
•Improved Cardio Vascular Health
•Reduce Risk of Falling
•Building Confidence to Attend Fitness Classes
•Increased Strength
•Increased Day-to-Day Independence
Your exercises sessions would include stability, flexibility, strength and power training, in varying degrees based on your needs.
Training will be functional and improve your fitness for sport and/or daily living.
Your programs would be periodised, adapted as your body adapts to the exercises. This will ensure your continual performance improvement, allowing you to achieve your goals faster. It also keeps the sessions fun and interesting.
Postural findings, from your initial consultation, will enable me to integrate postural correction exercise and stretching into your program. This will encourage optimum movement patterns and help to prevent injury, enabling continuous and more effective training

What do you love most about your job?
I am over 50 years young and believe that keeping fit and eating well keep us feeling and looking good. I understand the importance of correct posture and core strength having experienced rehabilitation through exercises, after 2 major back operations. I understand the impact of childbirth on the body and the importance and logistic challenges of fitting exercise into an already busy life.
I am very interested in working with those who are struggling to make exercise a part of their daily life. I am passionate about improving the quality of our lives.
I can work with all ages and abilities to achieve a wide range of fitness goals. I am also a certified Weight Loss Specialist and Senior Fitness Specialist.
What inspired you to start your own business?
There have been times in my live when I could hardly walk. I have had 2 major back operations and understand the importance of exercise to optimise the quality of our lives.
Before starting our family I worked within the computer games industry. That was great fun, but I decided then to follow my true passion in life. I have always encouraged those around me to exercise and eat healthily.

I’m very happy to train you online. I’m all set up for this and have plenty of experience. I run a weekly exercise class via zoom and also train clients regularly online.
I’m happy to train you in person, a mixture of in person and online or just online - whatever suits your busy life.
Personal Training

The weight training elements are always hugely popular, and beneficial, and are suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
Exercise Classes
I hold a number of exercise classes across the week aimed at all fitness levels. All sessions include an element or cardio and weight training for optimum fitness gains.
Run Coaching
I am a qualified run coach and am available to train you to run on a one-to-one basis if wished. I am also happy to arrange group sessions.
Personalised Small Group Training
I offer small group training at my private gym. If you have a group of friends or family who would like to train together under expert guidance to achieve your fitness goals, please contact me to discuss.
