Pete came round to quote in October, he understood exactly what we were after, adding advice and experience to our thoughts. Even after the initial quote which was received within 36 hrs, we had further questions and added some extras, and his responses were always timely, and helpful. Pete and his merry team turned up at 8am on the first day and everyday, and our garden went from a confined patio rockery and mish-mash of overgrown borders , to a beautiful contemporary open patio 4 x the size with raised beds, a garden we can be truly proud of. There were a couple of snags, this is not a bad thing, and Pete sorted them promptly and to our complete satisfaction within a day or to of finishing (not like other contractors you have to fight to get back). From the outset Pete has been very responsive, professional, helpful and friendly. The quote was given to us within 24 hours and samples were provided on the same day. Our remit was to have a modern, unfussy, kid friendly garden, and we hired Pete and his team (Carl and Luke) to put up our fencing and lay the artificial lawn, porcelain tiles, paving and decorative stone. The garden still needs plants and ornaments etc, however this is something we are going to source and wasn’t part of the remit to Pete. Pete and the team worked tirelessly to get things just as we wanted them, with the guys arriving at 8am and working past 5pm a couple of times to get a stage completed. When any challenges presented themselves, Pete would discuss the options with us prior to proceeding and there were no hidden surprises. We are thrilled with our garden and Pete and the team were an absolutely pleasure to have at the house. We would like to say a huge thank you to Pete and his team for completely transforming our garden into a low maintenance child/pet friendly space for us to enjoy in all weathers. Pete designed our garden exactly the way we described and it looks even better than we imagined. They arrived on time every morning and worked extremely hard all day. We decided last minute that we'd prefer a brick wall to separate the patio/grass area and Pete certainly did an amazing job and it has finished the garden off completely. We chose Start2Finish as Pete spent a considerable amount of time with us beforehand, providing lots of options and ideas, as we weren’t really sure what we wanted. We found him to be reliable, professional, friendly and helpful.

They arrived on time every morning and worked extremely hard. Even though the garden threw up a few unexpected snags, Pete always managed to find solutions and got them resolved.

Pete and his team did an amazing job in such a short space of time. We love our new garden and can’t wait to use it when the warmer weather arrives.

Amazing work! These guys really know what they are doing. They took our ideas and ran with them, often coming up with things we hadn't even thought of.
