Adult Day Centre
Stay Connected Club is a twice weekly Club for older members of the community, with or without dementia.
The Club's mission is to provide a range of person-centred activities that support physical and mental wellbeing by reducing loneliness and enabling people to maintain social interactions within a safe environment.
Our activities include games, puzzles, quizzes, art and craft, reminiscence, singing, chair exercises, and more.
The activities will be planned with our clients in mind and with a choice on the day. Everyone will be encouraged to join in but there is no pressure whatsoever to do so, you may just prefer to sit in an armchair and read a newspaper with the comforting feeling of having other people around you.
Admission Criteria
The Club is open to all older members of the local community. All clients will be assessed prior to attending the centre to determine the level of care needed and to ensure that we are able to provide that support within this setting. Clients using wheelchairs must be able to stand and transfer from their wheelchairs.
Charges
The cost is £60 per day to include a 2-course lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
Transport
We do not currently provide transport to our Club.
Location
The Stay Connected Club is being held at The Old Print Shop in Red Barn Mews off the High Street in Battle. Parking is not available in Red Barn Mews although we can provide access to the Mews for drop off and pick up.
At Home Nails and Feet Care
A small group of our home care team have been professionally trained to help you maintain healthy feet, hands and nails in the comfort of your own home. Our service is designed for people who for whatever reason aren't able to manage this for themselves.
We provide a non-medical service and it should not replace any specialist care that you may receive from a podiatrist, for example if you have diabetes.
Our charges: Hands £24, Feet £30, Hands and Feet £50.
