Q&As

What I love most about my role as owner and Registered Manager at Specialist Care Team is the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives. It's incredibly rewarding to provide care that not only ensures our clients' safety and comfort, but also empowers them to maintain their independence. Every smile we bring, every moment of relief we provide to families knowing their loved ones are in capable hands, is a testament to the impactful work we do. I take immense pride in leading a team of dedicated professionals who share this passion and commitment.

The inspiration to start Specialist Care Team was born out of a clear need I saw within our community. I noticed many families were facing challenges in finding high-quality, reliable, and personalised home care for their loved ones. I wanted to create a solution that would not only alleviate this struggle, but also provide care that focuses on promoting independence and upholding the dignity of every individual we serve. This led to the birth of Specialist Care Team, an independent, family-owned service provider committed to delivering bespoke care plans tailored to individual needs and lifestyles.

Specialist Care Team was founded to meet a special need in our local community. We saw that many families were struggling to coordinate reliable, high-quality care at home.

As an independent, family-owned service provider, we take a personal approach to homecare. Every client is supported with a bespoke care plan that highlights independence, safety, and comfort.

Our team is fully committed to upholding your privacy and dignity so that you can thrive in every stage of life. Reclaim your independence, make your voice heard, and hire personalised care that opens up new opportunities.

Absolutely, we can provide our services online or remotely. Since the onset of Covid-19, we have seen an increasing demand from our clients for remote support. We quickly adapted to this new reality and integrated technology into our care approach.

Whether it's providing medication reminders, companionship support, or general assistance, we have the capability to offer these services remotely. We use various platforms such as telephone calls, text messaging, and video calls to ensure our clients feel connected and cared for, even when we can't be physically present.

It's important to note that our remote services are just as personalised as our in-home care. We work closely with each client to develop a remote care plan that suits their specific needs and comfort levels with technology. In this way, we continue to uphold our commitment to independence, safety, and comfort, regardless of the circumstances.

In response to Covid-19, we've implemented a range of safety measures to ensure the wellbeing of our clients and staff. We closely follow government guidelines and industry best practices for infection control. Our staff have undergone additional training on hygiene protocols and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Regular Covid-19 testing is conducted to ensure the health and safety of our team and clients. We also continue to provide remote support where possible, limiting physical contact while still ensuring our clients' needs are met. Our priority is, and always will be, the safety and comfort of our clients.
