I am enthusiastic and very passionate about languages because I think it’s an ideal way to build bridges between different cultures and nation.

French Lessons
I have had French lessons with Géralde every week since November 2020 and being a retired teacher myself I was quite fussy about finding a teacher of quality. Géralde has easily matched my expectations. I started the lessons with the aim of improving my spoken French and reading French books and and I have made progress in only a couple of months. She is an excellent teacher and is very good at developing my French language skills in an interesting, tailor made programme which continues. What do you love most about your job?
Learning a new language helps you understand better other nations and cultures. This is why I am passionate about helping the younger generations to overcome the fear of speaking a foreign language by showing them that with a little dedication anybody can learn.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Even when I was a Medical Student I still found time to teach at a language school and at a university, French and English as a second language. And I was amazed at the changes that happened in these students over time, from dreading the language class to loving it, learning and enjoying it. So, when I had to retire from my medical profession, due to health problems, it seemed logical to pursue my passion in spreading the love of languages to everyone I could.

I am passionate about what I do, I am also patient and as a linguist, I find different approaches to learning to suit the individual needs of my students.

All sessions are online via Zoom and last 55 minutes.
