I worked a year for Sparkle during my university studies where I was accommodated with great hours, training, and support from the team. I only stopped to improve my studies. The well-structured system of training, feedback, check-in/out logs, and industrial equipment comes together to comfortably drive a quality job even out of someone new to the job like me. It is clear the managers and directors have a great rapport with their clients and employees which is reflected in their friendly but professional manner. Fantastic cleaning company, fast reliable and efficient.. my carpets was in absolute need of cleaning with having a toddler and toilet training they really needed doing! I was recommended sparkle cleaning who I contacted, Dan got back to me sharply and we arranged for him to come clean my carpets. A huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders since i have been using Sparkle Cleaning. I own a pub with 10 ensuite rooms and was forever trying to employ decent housekeepers, who then ended up always letting me down. Andrew has provided 2 housekeepers for me who are both fabulous and are a real part of the team now. They cant do enough for me. Terrible communication, no regular audits/checks, cover when our regular cleaner is away is terrible, clearly no care given. Oh and they charge you a set amount of hours per day even if they work less. I really love the look of satisfaction on the customer's face after another job, plus i love the staff, we have a great team, everyone loves what they do!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been self employed for about 10 years, coming from the fuel/chemicals industry where I worked for over 20 years. I always thought I could do it, I'm a people person, but didn't have the confidence to try it out for myself, since i took the leap, I've never looked back!
