We booked Southwest Band for our wedding in April and they were absolutely brilliant… the best wedding band we have ever seen. In the lead up to the wedding we told Henry that the biggest thing we wanted was for the dance floor to be packed and for people to have an amazing time. Southwest Band certainly didn’t disappoint! From the moment we booked them all the way through the wedding they were great to deal with. On the night, they worked with our caterers and the venue to make sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing. In the weeks since our wedding people have continued commenting on how talented and fun the band were. Wow, wow, wow!! I struggle to put in to words how good it was having Henry and the guys at our wedding. They had already been fantastic at my sisters wedding in Oct 2017 which is why we booked them for our wedding. Great weather allowed them to be outside for an afternoon acoustic set before the main gig in the evening. Great choice of tracks. You just nailed it the whole time. Henry was brilliant with coordinating with caterers and keeping me informed during the day. If you like indie / rock Southwest are just incredible as a wedding band. Awesome rendition of Mollys Chambers. Southwest know how to do the tracks right to keep your guests / the crowd going. They do great medleys as well. It’s just such a shame we probably aren’t going to have the occasion again to be able to rebook them as we definitely would! More...

Honestly the best band I have ever heard at a wedding - so glad it was my own! So many of the guests said they were the best they'd ever heard too, people are still saying it almost 3 months later. The guys were absolutely fantastic - really got the party going. Our first dance was perfect and their song choices for their 2 sets were brilliant! They even managed to learn an S Club 7 song just for me (and managed to keep their street cred while playing it!). A particular highlight was the word-perfect rendition of Shaggy's "Wasn't Me" including the incredible rap - no one could believe it. The other highlights included "Sweet Caroline" (my family are a bit obsessed with the song) and "Fairytale of New York" (it was the 23rd December). They played such a range of songs - from Stevie Wonder to Wheatus - and nailed them all. I can not recommend these guys enough. Thank you so much for playing at our wedding in December. We had the best time! From the first dance to the last (and then the 'one more song! ') our dance floor was full of people having a great time. Thank you for learning our first dance song, it was so lovely to have the band perform it. Without being asked to you also happened to play our second and third choices for the first dance, great minds must think alike. Well, I don’t really know where to start in writing a review for the Southwest Band - these guys are AWESOME, so much for them! ! It’s so tough finding a wedding band scrolling through clip after clip of the same management choreographed promo video, which is why these guys stood out to us from the outset, it wasn’t the same choreographed promo video!. We could tell from the start we were onto a winner, these guys were genuine and talented and they didn’t let us down! They absolutely SMASHED it, their sets were on point and had the dance floor buzzing the whole night Our personal favourite was the hip hop & pop medleys! Henry was awesome with the planning and organising side too, filling us with confidence right from the word go. Do not hesitate in booking these guys, you won’t be disappointed! Wow what a fabulous band Southwest are! They made our wedding truly fabulous. So many of our guests commented on how great they were, the live sets totally made the day and had everyone up dancing, even the sets in between were a perfect mix of great tunes. I cannot thank them enough.

We had these guys back in 2014, 4 years ago today and they were amazing. They even played at our service which was emotional! Southwestband were absolutely incredible at our wedding. They really went above and beyond. Our friends still talk about the music at our wedding because it really was amazing. They got everybody up and dancing. We asked for a first dance they had not done before and therefore had learn and they really pulled it off. It was done exactly how we wanted. Adding to this after the wedding they kindly sent us a video of the first dance which they had been recording. This has been invaluable to us as unfortunately the photographer lost a number of photos from the first dance. Hopefully I never have to get married again but if I was to have another big party I would without doubt book Southwestband. More...

If you want the best, get these guys. Simple as that. A class apart from any band ive seen at weddings in the past. Truly great sound and the vibe they kept up all night caused my new wife to offer her first (and probably last) appology for doubting the need to have a band. They are not a simple cheesy covers band, they are talented musicians and their ability to play songs on the fly was exceptional. Everybody loved them, plenty of people still comment on how good the band were 6 months on. Southwest band played at our wedding at Oulton Hall in April and were absolutely fantastic. The created a wonderful upbeat atmosphere and got all the guests up dancing. We had so many comments after the day to say how amazing the band were. I do bridal make up and always recommend them to any brides looking for an awesome band. We had everyone singing like it was the encore for the first dance, and that sent the tone for the whole evening the guys smashed it. fantastic is all we really have to say, nailed exactly how we dreamed our wedding vibs to be. people dancing on the tables, a proper party atmosphere, the guys know how to get a room going. Southwest played at my husbands 40th birthday party and were such nice guys and totally brilliant musicians. Their playlist was varied and perfect for what we wanted. They were happy to learn a song that I wanted and played requests through the evening. The fact they they played acoustic and then dj’d till the end made the night run smoothly. Hi guys, Just want to say a massive thank you, you guys were amazing at our wedding back in October. Anyone looking for a wedding should look no further, Henry was a real help in picking our first dance song and worked with us to make sure we were happy. We had the guys for the full day and the acoustic set was great and gave a perfect atmosphere over the meal. The evening sessions rocked, everyone commented on how good you guys were. Henry & the guys were incredible at our wedding this month. They were exactly what we were after when looking for a wedding band; proper musicians without that clichè 'wedding band' feel.
