The South East Koi Club has members of all ages sharing the same interest in koi. Our programme of events cover all aspects of the care and welfare of koi. Monthly meetings are held at Chelsfield Community Hall, near Orpington Kent. During the summer months we run pond visits to other koi clubs and BKKS Sections. We travel to another part of the country to meet our hosts who show us around their ponds and gardens. What better way to get more ideas for constructing your pond, learning someone elses koi-keeping methods and making new friends.

Every year we hold our Open Show, which is now held at the Kent County Showground, Detling Hill, Detling, Maidstone, Kent ME14 3JF in September. Here we have all the facilities to accommodate our growing Show. This event has developed over the years to become one of the largest Koi Shows in the country and is regularly attended by koi keepers from Europe and further afield. We also have a trip to the Dutch Koi Show in August where we enjoy the hospitality of our like-minded friends on the Continent.

Twice-a-year we hold an auction which enables members to move on and aquire koi and koi related items and there are often some real bargains to be had.

We have association with other koi clubs abroad and are twinned with the Oregon Koi and Watergarden Society, NVN (Holland and SAKKS (South Africa).
