Building the average property needs around 25 different professionals and tradespeople. Even smaller projects such as kitchens and windows need you to be able to liaise with a number of different people, and you have to put your trust in them all.
This is where the stress comes in if you are doing all this work yourself. As in any walk of life, there are good and not-so-good tradespeople. Even those who deliver excellent work sometimes fall down on things like administration and communication.
When you are having to deal with several different tradespeople at the same time, it can become very challenging to coordinate everything and to cope when things don’t go according to plan. It’s also difficult to assess the quality of work when it’s not a skill you know inside out.
So, people choose to use South Coast Design & Build because we look after all this for them.
We run construction and building projects all day, every day and our three project managers have done so for many years, so there’s not a lot we haven’t experienced.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have been very active to ensure that all of our clients are safe during this awful time, in the past year we have completed over 20 jobs while maintaining the highest of standards, all PPE is worn at all times and distance is kept from the clients at the same time. We take the time to understand the clients worries and precautions they wish us to take and we take them.
