My name is Elaine, I am a Social Worker working in Children Services, predominantly in Child Protection and Court Work. A few months ago I had three distant Reiki sessions with Emma, these falling on an bi-weekly basis. I was suffering with erratic sleep, waking up with a jolt early in the morning and generally feeling anxious, panicky and suffering with low self worth. I can honestly say after the first session my anxiety levels reduced to a level to which I felt able to 'catch my breathe' and feel somewhat 'normal' again. My sleeping pattern was immediately balanced and the waking with a jolt at 4:30am almost disappeared instantly. During the sessions my throat area felt heavy and blocked, Emma worked on this area and in the session I had the sensation of needing to cough and clear my throat. It transpires this was a particularly blocked area and needed further work from Emma to clear this energy. I saw various colours and felt energy shifting sensations within these sessions. The sessions were very spiritual and powerful which almost felt like an out of body experience. Emma has the most soothing and calming voice, caring approach and I can honestly say she prevented me from going to a very dark place by having these sessions. As a professional who works in a very stressful and undervalued sector, it can be hard to feel upbeat at times. Emma's sessions helped balance me while re-energising my wellbeing and she gave me tools and tips as to keep myself protected and my energy's safe while working with vulnerable people. I would strongly recommend people and/or professionals experience Reiki sessions with Emma, it is truly life changing and definitely brought me back from the brink of what I believe was potentially me moving towards having an emotional breakdown. I knew I would benefit from some healing, even though there was nothing specific to address. Just needed engage my body and mind in some me-time. Emma was completely amazing. Totally compliant with COVID regulations, she welcomed me with a pot of herbal tea and some water infused with essential oils. The room smelled wonderful and I was immediately calm. After a short meditation she introduced me to Oracle Cards which was exactly what I needed to hear to bolster myself - really empowering stuff! The Reiki was incredible- felt such tranquillity, and my mind was full of bright colours throughout. I needed the healing more than I had realised. From the moment you step through the door at the Soulstar Sanctuary, Emma makes you feel welcome, calm and at ease. It’s such a beautiful space that it almost feels like being embraced in a warm nourishing hug. Emma always leaves me in a better place.I adore her treatments. I recently spent two sessions with her exploring intuition with an amazing group of women and it was true magical. And then because of the amazing experiences I'd had so far I signed up to study my Reiki Level 1 with her.
