When I first came to Abi’s class I was rubbish and I wanted to be the best. 5 years on I have learned that yoga is not about being the best it is about accepting the ‘body you have on the day you have it’. Abi teaches me lessons that I can take forward to my daily life. I have found that the moments where I am having the most fun are the moments I am making the biggest physical improvements in strength and technique. Abi’s classes are full of people from all abilities, ages, backgrounds. Everyone is made to feel welcome. Abi is a wonderful fun teacher of yoga. She gets to the niggly bits and makes you work hard.. I only go to Abis classes these days and I have been practicing yoga for at lest 10 years now. These classes suit me the best. I have learned many different postures from Abi, from crow to handstands, if you are after a good workout, great stretch and to feel wonderful afterwards Abi is the one for you. More...

I have been following Abby for two years now.
What I enjoy is that she practices a zero BS yoga.
It starts with the body and leads eventually elsewhere but she doesn't sell wisdom or a dream like many.

Her training is clever in the sense she brings you far but without hurting you. At 57 I have never that strong or flexible (granted I was never stiff). She takes good care of beginners: I can tell I was one... When you practice long enough with her you realize she has a plan for you: on the long run, you improve in every direction without really noticing and suddenly one day, you can perform an asana that seemed impossible at first.

One point worth mentionning is that her teaching is very compatible with my primary discipline (namely Aikido, "martial art") they reinforce each other.

Overall she brings a lot of good mood and energy in the equation :)

Q&As

I help my clients achieve their fitness goals by gaining an understanding of what it is that they actually want. This can only be done by listening and feeding back to them what I have understood.
I will conduct an initial physical assesment and take a look at their current diet and how it suports their goals , so we can both identify our baseline starting point.
You cant keep doing the same thing and expect a change. My role is to identify the changes that need to be made and to support my client through those changes in the best way posdible in order to make the change permanent.
I break it down our overall goal into bite size achievable targets which we will measure every couple of weeks. This over a period time will bring us to in the general area of the ideal within the specified time frame.
I support my clients through the rocky bits which we all experience untill they get their balance. Being honest by setting short , medium and long term goals as well as how long realitically it should take to achieve them

The secret is that there is no secret. You need to put in the time and work with your energy on the day. Sometimes you just wont feel like doing anything but dont let your mind fool you.
Your body is designed to be mobile so the trick is to over ride your mind and just do your best. Even a little bit is bettet than nothing at all.
Once you start your excersice session you will quickly find that your energy level rises and your reluctance level dissapears.
Be consistent. Results dont happen over night. It takes 9 months to grow a whole baby so expect that you cannot transform a whole grown body in 9 weeks. It will take time but be realistic.
Each time you put on your clothes and they feel a bit more roomy is an indication that you are on your way to your desired body destination.
Each time you catch yourself performing a daily task with ease when it used to be a strain is an indicator that things are changing internally for the better.
The reality is this the body of your dreams may not be the body that you get but its the best that your body can be and the biggest suprise is it may actually be better than the body you imagined for yourself.

This is ideal
- for beginners who want to jump start their yoga journey before attending a group practice. A great way to build confidence and to become familiar with foundation poses.

For those with a busy schedual but still want a regular practice.

- For someone who wants to improve current practice or has a specific goal eg weight loss , greater flexibility, relief from back ache

Yoga in a face to face group is an energetic high. Its a great team building experiance . Group practice starts from 4 people onwards.

You are in for a treat as your PT you will get all of my experience knowledge and skills rolled up into one .
I will design for you a bespoke training package designed to achieve your goals . This will be done by conduting a physical and nutritional assesment.
I will look at your current lifestyle and its demands on your time to find out the best way to implement and include the changes that you may need to make in order to be sucessful.
To do this I need to know about you

Fancy something fun and diffrent. This is yoga on another level. Using ceilling mounted straps and sling bring the 6 year old you out to play . This will impact your yoga practice by working on arm strenght as well as your core.
Inversion will take on a whole new meaning and rock away like a baby in a craddle when you get to relax completly weightless in the sling

The same as group face to face except it done via zoom so you wont have far to flop over in your couch.
Also great for those at work without much time. Find a place where you wont be disturbed. Better still encourage your fellow workers to join in for a great discount 🧘🏿‍♂️

Using the Pablo Immani method I will take you through a series of sacred movements practiced by Egyptians over 4000 years ago
1-2-1 or group practice available

Not into traditional yoga
This method leaves out all of the yoga speaky spokey and the tying yourself into knots.
We get straight into lenghtening muscle by allowing them to relax in the stretch.
Gain greater flexibility quickly by focusing on the anterior (front) and the posterior (back) chain of muscles.
The end result is that along with the greater flexibility you will also find that your overall posture improves. Great for cyclist, runners, weight lifters and sports folk in general.
