Sophie Saunders Bridal Make Up

Sophie is like the fairy god mother of makeup and hair. She came over whilst i was on holiday on my 18th birthday. I suffer with various health issues so never have the chance anymore to do my hair and makeup properly, but Sophie changed that for my special day. All her makeup products used gave an immaculate & flawless finish! I have very pale skin, but she matched that incredibly! She is honestly such a kind hearted & lovely women who is dedicated to her job and has a real passion for transforming people's special day's. I luckily found Sophie a month or so before my Wedding day in a last minute panic to find a makeup artist. We had a trial just a few days before the wedding and she was absolutely brilliant. Super friendly, very willing to listen to exactly what you want and a very talented makeup artist. Sophie did my wedding make up and was absolutely amazing! From the moment we met for my make up trial she made me feel completely relaxed. She really listened and gave me my style that lasted all day. Everyone complimenented me on the day telling me how beautiful I looked, with a 10 month old teething baby, Sophie worked a miracle!

I highly recommend Sophie, you can tell she loves what she does, she really wants to know about you and make your day perfect. Sophie did my make up for my wedding day, she was just amazing. We did a trial a few weeks before and I arrived not knowing what I wanted or anything. I was blown away by how knowledgeable she was. She is just a lovely person and just made me feel at ease and confident with who I had chosen to do my make up. On the day, Sophie was fantastic. Chatted with my wedding party and went above and beyond. After my make up was done, my hair was being done and Sophie waited to do touch ups before I left for the venue. I couldn’t of asked for a better make up artist and genuinely lovely person on my wedding day. I can not recommend her highly enough. I will be getting in contact for my next big event, that’s for sure ��.

Sophie did mine and my mum’s make-up for my wedding day and did an absolutely incredible job. She is warm and lovely - one of my bridesmaids took her details for her wedding next year!
On the morning of the wedding I think Sophie could see I was feeling nervous and was very calm and reassuring...not just an excellent make-up artist! She stayed with me until my dress was on and didn’t leave until she was absolutely happy with the finished look, no detail was too much trouble. At my trial she listened to everything I said and my make-up was exactly as I had hoped for- if not better. Sophie was an absolute dream! From the second I met Sophie at my trail she was amazing. I am not hugely into makeup but knew I wanted something simple! Sophie was fab, she followed the brief to perfection and explained everything along the way. My make up trail with Sophie was the first time I had ever been happy when someone else had done my make up.
On the day of the wedding Sophie was wonderful! So chatty, friendly and professional. She put everyone at ease and made me and my braidsmaids look amazing! Best of all our makeup stayed all day ... even through the 30degree heat and crazy dancing.

Sophie was brilliant from start to finish. I don't wear or know a lot about make up but I felt at ease straight away. She listened to my ideas at the trial and gradually built it up so I could see all options before deciding on what I wanted. She continually asked what I like which reassured me that she knew exactly what I liked for my wedding day.

I recently had the opportunity to work with Sophie at a wedding fashion shoot in Suffolk and had such a great time working with her. Sophie is such a fun, professional MUA, with lots of experience in many areas of make up application. The make up Sophie designed and applied at the shoot was awesome, consulting with the team throughout, in order to get the perfect looks, whilst working fantastically smoothly with our model. Sophie did my make up for my twin sisters wedding, and having always been very picky about make up I was nervous to let someone loose on my face :-) However, all my fears were unfounded. Sophie was very knowledgeable and very patient when I explained what kind of look I wanted. All the at through she let me see the look before adding more eye shadow or contouring.
