I’d like to thank Dan and Julia at Sophella for managing my recent mortgage application. Dan’s advice to get the right product and Julia basically doing everything else including sorting my deal when I got the end of my fixed term date wrong, made it a stress free process and will save me £000’s of pounds over the term. Interest rates have gone up twice since I first applied. I’d have not known how to manage the mortgage provider in the way they did. I can't recommend Sophella enough! I contacted them on a whim thinking that we might be paying a bit over the odds for our mortgage, and Daniel called me back the next day, took some info from us while on the phone and quoted us £100 less per month than we were paying, while allowing us to retrieve some of the equity from our home. Julia took over our case handling from there and she was really diligent, friendly and made sure we never felt neglected during our time dealing with her. No question or query too big or small, just a gem of a lady. A month later, we've got money in the bank and are paying less on our mortgage over the same period of time. Literally zero downside! Outstanding service from start to finish, I can’t recommend all the team at SophellaMortagages enough. Both Daniel and Julia were very informative throughout the process and keep us updated in all steps. I was in touch with Daniel for a nearly year before we found our home and put our offer up. He managed to get us AIP within 30min of our call. We used their solicitor recommendation LatimerLee. Julia had us updated and informed regularly and checked any issues with solicitors till the end. As a first time buyer can’t express how crazy the current housing market is and how stressful can be a process of buying a first home. Amazing from start to finish of the whole mortgage process, checking in and chasing up where required.
