What do you love most about your job?
We have a wonderful selection of customers, all of whom are friendly and great to work with.
Chatting to customers and helping them develop their business is our passion, because it is both challenging and rewarding. When a client wins and we have been part of that process we win too.
Not every day is a great day of-course, but on the whole I enjoy 99% of my work days and that makes me feel lucky.
Smart Card Payments have also given us the opportunity to sponsor Gloucester City Football Club and to work with three wonderful charities to help them with the great work they do, something that gives us a great feeling of 'giving back'.
On the whole though its the people we work with that give us the greatest pleasure. Hearing about their 'work wins', family, holidays or just having a general chit-chat has turned customers into friends .... and that is probably the main reason that our days are enjoyable ones!
What inspired you to start your own business?
Working for another business that was heading on a different journey to the one I wanted to travel on forced me to make the change.
Starting SmarT Communications SW Ltd was the best decision I made for me and my family in 2010 and here we are 13 years later, happy, healthy and with a database full of amazing customers!
