Fantastic service, great work and reasonable price. James repointed and painted my house. Very happy to recommend.

James responded promptly to the Bark request, turned up the next day, and gave a very competitive quote which I accepted. He then got straight on with the repointing and repairs from the next day and has done a really great job . We recently moved into a house that had years of brick damage to external walls, caused by over-zealous sparrows pecking at the bricks for the grit; some of the work was fiddly, but James has done a sympathetic job and maintained the character of the walls (Victorian building, in a conservation area). A very skilled and professional repointing specialist. He did an amazing job of repointing our old Edwardian detached house and he has significantly improved the exterior by doing this in such a sympathetic way to match the age of the house. He cleared and tidied as he went along and did the major clean up at the end. We would highly recommend James as he is an extremely reliable, trustworthy and a very nice guy to have around.

Hello Nigel, I'm sorry you feel this way, but when I gave you quote for the job you were more than happy to go ahead with the work and what I quoted was a fair price, I also mentioned that the work would take approx 2-3 days to complete, if the job in the end had taken 5 days to complete would you've payed me more because it took longer? No i doubt it and I also wouldn't expected to be payed more than agreed price. I was payed for my efficiency and knowledge for the job, not how long it would take, As for the other side of the wall that was never mentioned from either of us when we discussed the job, and it was only ever brought up after I had popped round to your neighbours side of the wall when she said that a couple of the stones fell, which I repaired free of charge, And afterwards I said to you that her side of the wall could do with repointing in the future, surely you didn't expect me to do that side free of charge? And if you did want it doing I would've been more than happy to give you a quote for it. I'm sorry that's this is how you feel, but I truly believe I carried out a quality and efficient job, I wish you all the best in the future.
