Had my first visit to the salon today and absolutely loved it. All of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The wash room was a real treat and Jess's head massage was so relaxing. I had my hair cut by Dean upon a friend's recommendation and I wasn't disappointed.... he was fabulous. He came up with some fresh ideas and by the time I left I felt well and truly pampered. How friendly were the team at this salon. I was met with a cheery hello. My coat was put in a safe place and I was offered a drink before I’d even sat down. Never had this service before. Everyone was very welcoming. Was asked about what style I wanted and colour and was shown the colour chart. The cut was very good and the colour is lovely. Dean V really knows his stuff. Seems I’ll be going back in 5 weeks time. From this experience I can recommend this salon especially if your looking for a new style and are a bit wary about the experience. More...

I visited sixth sense for a Nioxin hair event after loosing my hair with chemo, they were amazing, made me feel so special and truly like a woman, I had a specialised hair treatment and aftercare advice to use products at home to improve my hair growth, my favourite part was having my hair washed in the relaxing hair wash room, I've never been to a salon that has been this amazing, a true gem of a place and well worth the travel from north Wales , see you soon x

Followed my hairdresser Anthony to Sixth Sense, and I'm so glad I did. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Dean, the owner, personally speaks to every client in his salon, even though he has clients of his own to take care of. The treatment room is very rekaxing, and the refreshments on offer are top notch. I got back from the treatment room to find a glass of smarties waiting for me! Just had a cut and finish with Charlie and she was so lovely, professional, and friendly. She gave me tonnes of advice on products, styles and colours to carry on the way she has sorted out the state of my hair! Cannot thank Dean and his team enough. Being one of the awkward people that is allergic to everything I can only imagine I’m a hairdressers worst nightmare.
Dean has worked so hard and been so professional in trying to ensure that I don’t flare up and yet achieved my colour goals.
His cut is phenomenal. I’ve never been so happy. Not only that my son has had his hair cut there too (by another member of the team) and she was so well educated in the art of cutting hair and super patient whilst explaining to my inquisitive self what, how and why she was doing what she was doing and both my son, and I, love the final result.
All the staff are trained to such a high standard, so welcoming and skilled. You get not only the quality, but the outstanding customer service you expect. I’ve never been so happy with my hair.

After seeing amazing reviews about this salon I had decided to make an appointment to get my hair done and I was not disappointed! I was looked after by Charlie who was fab and done an amazing job with my hair, and gave me helpful advice on products that I could use to maintain my hair. Absolutely amazing, I've been at the salon today as a model for some hair up training, from the minute I arrived I was made to feel at home, all of the staff were really welcoming, I was a model for Adrian and just wow! He is so so talented, every look he created was flawless, couldn't of been happier with the looks he was producing! Visited for the first time today and wow....was a wonderful experience. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a warm smile and offered a drink. You are made to feel at ease and VERY welcome.. My stylist Adi was so attentive and explained everything in detail throughout. He has a lovely kind nature and I came away very very pleased with my hair. everyone in there is so friendly, and admittedly I am one of those that don't go to the hairdressers as often and months would pass between each appointment, they always remember me and even ask about my mother, which is something very rare with customer service these days!

I visited Sixth Sense for the first time this month. Adi was very friendly and took the time to discuss colour and style options with me. I have wanted to go a bit blonder and brighter for a while and he gave me the confidence to go for it, albeit he discussed the best products to use to protect my hair and to achieve the best colour for my skin tone. What a great service! Everyone is so lovely and friendly I left with a massive ego all the compliments I received! Lovely staff, we could chat for hours like we've known each other forever! Sat in a massage chair whilst having my hair washed the atmosphere was well thought out and i felt very relaxed and at ease confident that they would do a great job. Their policy is to make everyone feel like a someone and I think that was very well delivered during my experience! Such a convenient location right next door to Sutton Coldfield Station!I was greeted as soon as I entered with a warm welcome and they offered me several fun refreshments. I booked in with Shannon in advance and she was great. I’ve never been to a salon that has so much character and charm understanding exactly what I wanted; this being an understatement as with curly hair I’ve always found it difficult to get a style I like!Fantastic cut and vision from Shannon and the team, one of the best hair cuts I’ve ever had! My goodness we have a gem of a salon at number 5 high street Sutton Coldfield. Where to begin? A bespoke quality experience from start to finish. Friendly professional staff that made you feel incredibly welcome each having there own artistic flair! Absolutely over the moon with the final look a real transformation. THANK YOU DEAN AND TASH! I'm so glad that Dean got in touch with me after my first visit to the salon wasn't what I was expecting and invited me back in for a second chance because it was amazing! I felt so welcome and comfortable (especially after my first review, I initially felt quite nervous ) and felt that this time round I experienced the true feel of the salon. I was made to feel so important with honest opinions on what to do with the colour and condition of my hair (to wait and treat it first, then colour it later in a better state) and given my energy code to help me get healthy hair again. Tash gave my hair a lovely treatment and an amazing cut - my hair feels better already!! I cant recommend this salon enough now, a complete turn around.
