Sign Language Lessons
Absolutely fantastic communication nothing is too much trouble! This amazing lady is helping teach a friend and her husband BSL after she lost the ability to communicate through medical complications. When I first got in touch and explained the situation that I would like to set up and pay for some BSL lessons for my friend and her husband to help give her back her voice Lorraine was genuinely interested in helping out and using her skills to better the lives of others. The communication between all parties involved has been excellent keeping me up to date with how their lessons are going and when they’re booked in so I know they’ve been used and so I can pay for extra if needed. She has been patient and understanding and been incredibly flexible to allow for optimal learning. With the nature of my friends condition she can suffer chronic fatigue and Lorraine has been excellent at accommodating her needs with a genuine outlook to help and teach. 20/10 recommend More...

What do you love most about your job?
I can make a difference to peoples days and lives by sharing my own skills, knowledge and life experiences. I can do all of this from the comfort of my own home office so I can make the most of my working time without needing to travel.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I became a mum and wanted to ensure I could put my previous skills and experience to use while being available to my son.
Why should our clients choose you?
I love to tutor and to help learners who may find learning difficult, pressurizing or boring to think outside of the box and to achieve the best that they can be. I am kind, caring, patient and fully committed to all of my learners to provide the highest quality of tutoring in a way that each learner responds to best.

Yes, all of my tutoring services are online and are carried out via Microsoft Teams.
Learners can access Microsoft Teams via browser so no app or download is required. Alternative options can be discussed with individual learners if required.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
My business was launched after the Covid-19 pandemic so all of my services are online.
Health and Social Care Tutoring
I offer online Health and Social Care support to learners of any age undertaking a certificate or learning in Health and Social Care. This may include private tuition for Induction Workbooks, the care certificate, NVQ2 or diplomas up to and including Level 5.
I also offer support for Maths and English functional tests related to these qualifications.
Please note all of my tuition is completed online.
British Sign Language Tutoring
I offer online introductory Level and Level 1 custom courses to other businesses, young people and adults.
I offer British Sign Language Sing, Sign and Storytime classes to younger children.
I use games and songs and untraditional teaching methods alongside slideshows, presentations and demonstrations to keep lessons fun and engaging.
Please note all of my tuition is completed online.
