What do you love most about your job?
At Shining Star, as a family run business, we understand the importance of family and getting the best and most personalised care. We understand that everyone has different wants and needs so have assessment booklets to complete about all aspects of the care you would like. We also try and match you with staff that are the correct fit for you which is why we have frontline carers coming to initial meetings, usually the carer who may be your main carer. We love to be able to provide personalised care and build caring relationships with our cliens.
Personal Care
We can provide support in any way appropriate for you. This can be strip washes, showers or baths. We also can assist with make up or getting dressed. When we initially meet we will complete assessments which will outline the specific support you require
Social Calls
We can provide support out into the community for shopping, appointments, meals or other things you wish to do. We will meet initially and discuss what things you wish to do in social calls then plan the day/days you wish to have these.
Medication
We can provide calls to assist with medication, all staff have medication training provided by a leading company. We are also signing staff up to complete OPUS medication training in addition and senior staff members have the highest training opus provides for Domicilliary Care
General Housekeeping
We can support with general housekeeping during any calls
Meal time support
We can provide support with the preparing, heating or feeding of meals. All staff have nutrition and hydration training and food safety certificates.
