Incorporated in August 2021,Shauna Supported Living Ltd are a new start-up care company. We offer 24/7 care services .All Shauna Supported Living are coordinated from Manchester, however, due to our banked staff and flexible management term, our services can be delivered nationwide.
Our Manager, Kudzai Chihurani, has worked as an adult nurse for 3years before working as a Domiciliary care manager for the past year. She possesses an impressive track record in helping to promote both the physical and personal independence of service users, as well am helping them to maximise their life potential.
Shauna Supported Living currently have 10 support workers and as the business grows, we expect to have at least 20 support workers and a further 10 key staff members. All support worker candidates will need to have a prerequisite of level 2 in health and social care and a minimum of 6 months experience in the health and social care sector to be considered for our company.
Even though Shauna Supported Living have only been officially registered as a limited company for 13 months, it is registered with the following:
• National Dignity Council
• Positive about Disabled People
• Dementia friends
•UKHCA(United Kingdom Home Care Association)
Our staff hold over 40yrs collective experience. We have provided several services relevant to the contract requirements including:
• Undergoing comprehensive recruitment procedures to ensure the most qualified and experienced employees, ensuring vetting procedures are in line with DBS procedures and safeguarding best practice.
• Policies and procedures are all in line with best practice and relevant, current legislation, Shauna Supported Living 'management team have experience conducting appraisal and disciplinary to ensure staff maintain their competence are up skilled and that our company continues to provide a quality service.
• Recently we have been faced with challenges in regard to COVID-19 risk assessments. We have provided support to our staff and service users within the community, whilst following government guidelines and ensuring an appropriate level of PPE.
