DOMICILIARY CARE
A domiciliary care worker is a care professional they visit people in their own homes, helping them to continue living independently. Everyone is different and so the level and amount of care can vary, depending on the clients’ requirements. The client might be someone who needs a paid carer one hour a week or for several hours a day — the amount of time needed varies. It can also be temporary — some people might need a care worker while they recover from an illness, and in other cases the care is long-term. Some domiciliary workers work nights for those who need round-the-clock care.
Duties can include:
-Administering medication
-Making meals
-Helping with personal care such as washing, dressing, hair, nail, mouth and skin care, and eating and drinking
-Escorting clients to an activity or a medical appointment
-Chatting and engaging with relatives and providing care updates
-Companionship — communicating and taking an interest in your client’s needs
-Errands such as shopping
-Helping with household tasks, including gardening, cleaning, household maintenance, washing clothes, doing the weekly shop or making the bed
-Assisting with paperwork such as paying bills
SUPPORTED LIVING
Supported living means helping them do the things that matter most to them, keeping them safe and helping them to make choices and lead full and rich lives in their community. You will be providing care and support to people either in their own homes or within a care home. As well as day to day support, this will include supporting people to get out and about in their community and when they go on holiday.
Duties can inlcude:
-Helping people to get organised, plan their day, clean, meal-plan and shop.
-Helping people who may have communication difficulties to express themselves and make choices.
-Being on hand to guide and advise, listen and understand, build confidence and self-esteem.
-Accessing the community and taking part in activities such as swimming, dance class, cinema, theatre trips and football.
-Helping people meet friends and stay in touch with loved ones.
-Support any medical needs, including making and attending any necessary appointments or administering medication.
-Including day to day money management and finanical support.
-Researching, applying for and attending college courses, and helping to find and attend voluntary opportunities.
LIVE IN CARE
Becoming a live-in carer isn’t just a career decision, it’s a lifestyle change. A highly trained live-in carer lives with the client at home, supporting their day-to-day needs as an alternative to residential care. As the carer, you may live with your client in their own home for up to 24 hours per day, 4 to 12 weeks at a time
Duties can inlcude:
-Companionship – getting to know your client’s interests, watching TV together and chatting on a daily basis
-Personal care – helping with things like washing and dressing
-Mobility support — some clients may struggle to get around the house without someone there
-Supervising medication according to the client’s care plan
-Household chores — cleaning, taking out the bins, gardening
-Cooking meals
-Running errands such as shopping or picking up prescriptions

We offer our clients flexible domestic cleaning services with great prices at £17.50/Hour or £45 for 3hours. We clean your homes from top to bottom and nothing is overlooked.
