This massage took me into the realms of relaxation that I haven't experienced for a long time. Was sent by one of my best friends who calls this incredibly talented man 'Mr Magic Hands'. I can honestly say it was the best treatment I have ever had! !! On arrival I received the warmest welcome (and that wasn't just due to the snow outside), followed by an introduction and a few questions about my little aches and pains. I have been booked for the massage with VJ at Shakti Massage by my partner as I have experienced shoulders pain and a back tension after my workout sessions. I have had quite a few massage treatments in the past with many other therapists and I can say that treatment received from VJ was very professional from the beginning till the end. VJ knows his stuff inside out and he goes also an extra length so that your mind feels relaxed too not only your body. I could feel the positive effect of the treatment as soon as I stepped outside the door. My back wasn't so tensed anymore and the shoulders pain almost fully disappeared. If you are deciding whether to give a VJ try I can only say that you should give it a go and have your own personal experience, which I believe, will not fall far from the one I have had. My friends recommended to me, however I wasn’t sure because my friends like rough massage and I prefer soft, IT WAS THE BEST MASSAGE SESSION EVER! VIjay did my back but my favourite parts of the massage were on my foot, face, head and neck!!! I have had two massages from Vijay of 90 minutes long and at the end of each session I felt like I was walking on a cloud. Not only does his massage relieve tension in the body but in the mind also. A big thank you to Veejay once again for looking after me and my husband.. My deep tissue massage unlocked all my knots and tension and we decided to combine it with a Lymphatic Drainage massage to finish! ! When I met Vijay this morning I was in a lot of pain. Mainly between my shoulder blades and spine what did not let me turn my head left and look behind my arm. I was a bit nervous as I have not changed my trusted sport massage therapist for over a year. That was a marvellous two hours experience for both: my body and my soul. I am lacking the words to express it. I have had a lot of massages but this was something beyond everything I have received so far. That was not just a massage. Vijay has got such a positive energy you can sense straight away when you meet him. When he introduced himself I already knew I am in good hands. I knew he is going to treat me as a whole person including my body, emotions, spirit and mind. I felt like I met an old friend. I did not feel any awkward distance. I did not feel weird or embarrassed. Usually I am too self-conscious to enjoy massage fully and to be relaxed. This time it was completely different (it was not zero-gravity position but I will work on that!). During treatment I was feeling a wave of warm energy filling my body and flowing evenly. It is exactly what I needed and what I thought about booking this appointment. I felt a variety of emotions and sensations. I even had a moment when I was crying but I did not have a need to cry because I was so happy and relaxed at the same moment. Vijay found every single knot on my body which needed attention. I did not have to tell him anything. He knew the place, he knew what pressure it the best. That was actually the first massage when I did not have to tell anything or talk to the person massaging me. He also discovered painful places which I was not aware of at all. I have got feeling that nothing was missed. Every aching part of my body received attention. He was reading my body in braille. Without any unnecessary words. I left happy, smiled, peaceful, grateful, energised, focused and able to move my head! I was walking from Boscombe to Westbourne focusing on ‘the here and now’ and I realised later that actually I planned to take a bus but I forgot because I was almost flying my way back home. I slept over two hours afterwards as that was what my body needed. Thank you so much, Vijay! I hope to see you next week again. More...

I went to see Vijay with a lot of pain in a couple of points in both my feet. Vijay is a true healer. He combines an empathetic spiritual approach with a mastery for working through the tight painful energy traps and knots. I came out feeling relieved of the pain. We worked through it together in the session and he knew exactly where each painful point was as he massaged my feet and calves.
