It's a slightly eccentric patchwork and a bit of an accessibility nightmare. The car park is undulating muddy stones, so not great for posh frocks and dapper footwear. The bar has a couple of real ales and is rather sumptuous. There's a hot tub but this was marked as not working on my visit. I would advise caution in nut-allergic folk attending events. Canapés had walnuts mixed-in, unmarked, with the general spread and this potentially fatal issue could be taken to say more about the standard of kitchen management. Flavourwise, the canapés were actually a bit meh.Weddings there were financed by joining a rather obscure "club" and we found this off-putting. Whether this still applies universally, I don't know but I did see short notice weddings advertised for ca. £2000, so guess there's potential if you keep your wits about you. More...

If there are special requirements, the staff are more than obliging to help wherever possible.I would imagine there may be some limitations for people with extreme mobility issues because of some narrow stair-ways but staff are very obliging and diligent to help wherever possible, plus rooms on ground floor are available too. I could write so much more about this wonderful 'Fairytale' type stay at Craig y Nos but to recommend to all who we know. Thanks to all at Craig Y Nos! - and Catherine! Well done for 25+ Years of loyalty - and obvious passion for Craig Y Nos, You are an asset to the establishment :)Oh..and thank you Adelina Patti! Your services will not be forgotten ;) More...
